David Bertram: A Proven Track Record
We’re pleased to announce that David Bertram has joined Ascend as the President of Collegiate Athletics. David isn’t new to many at Ascend, and his extensive 25-year background in collegiate multi-media and marketing speaks for itself. He started his career at Host Communications and upon IMG’s acquisition of Host, David assumed the role of VP, NCAA Corporate Marketing & National Collegiate Properties, including serving as Executive Director of NCAA Football. With his significant roles at IMG and later Volar Video, David has consistently demonstrated his deep expertise and understanding of collegiate sports marketing.

David’s appointment underscores Ascend’s commitment to expanding into the collegiate sports arena and our dedication to the ChangeIt product. The synergy between 50/50 and ChangeIt also offers promising developments.
In his role, David will oversee all aspects of our Collegiate Division, from building relationships to launching initiatives and managing college properties. With his experience and expertise, we’re confident that our new division is set for success.
